HR Associate

The HR Associate will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive HR support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle at Emirates Biotech. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will manage HR generalist and operational activities, ensuring smooth processes that support our growing workforce, this includes organisational change. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fluid, fast changing environment and is comfortable balancing strategic HR initiatives with hands-on operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and
    sourcing to interviews and offers.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and
    build effective talent pipelines.
  • Work with the HR & Admin Assistant to coordinate onboarding activities,
    ensuring a smooth integration for new hires.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Support day-to-day HR activities, ensuring compliance with UAE labour laws and company policies.
  • Manage HR documentation, employee records, and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the administration of payroll, ensuring accurate data collection and timely submission to Finance for approval.
  • Handle PRO-related processes for employee visas, work permits, and renewals.

Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and company culture-building activities.
  • Assist with all the communication that comes with company change management.

Policy & Compliance

  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures aligned with UAE laws and business needs.
  • Ensure HR processes meet compliance requirements for audits and inspections.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • An HR qualification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, including exposure to the UAE market.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and HR generalist responsibilities.
  • Strong administrative skills, with experience in payroll and HR systems.
  • Knowledge of UAE labour laws and PRO processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a start-up environment where priorities may shift quickly.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
